3 Netflix Top‑10 Movies Worth Hitting Play On Right Now

Tech outlet Tom’s Guide has published a fresh round‑up of the Netflix movie Top 10 as of October 17–18 (U.S. time), narrowing the list down to three films it says are actually worth your time. While the chart itself reflects Netflix’s official viewing data, the article re‑ranks titles based on overall quality, genre variety and rewatch value, positioning the picks as an editorial “must‑watch” trio for the weekend.

The selections cover three different lanes: a big‑scale action movie, a socially tinged thriller, and an animated feature aimed at families. All are English‑language originals, but the list is still useful for international viewers who want a snapshot of what’s trending globally on Netflix right now. In addition to short plot summaries, the guide adds practical viewing notes such as “perfect for a quick weeknight watch” or “ideal for getting into the Halloween mood,” making it a handy shortcut if you’re scrolling endlessly through the app.

Because the recommendations are based on the U.S. catalog, availability may differ in Japan and other regions. If a title catches your eye, it’s worth double‑checking the Japanese Netflix app or website to see whether it’s currently included in the local lineup.
