Netflix This Week: New Arrivals and Top 10 Hits as of October 3

A fan-run industry site that tracks Netflix’s catalog updated its weekly report on October 3, highlighting both this week’s new arrivals and shifts in viewing trends. The article compiles every movie, series and unscripted title that dropped in the first days of October, then lines them up against the global Top 10 charts for the same date. Horror and thriller releases clearly benefit from the early Halloween mood, but lighter fare – from sports dramas to romantic series – is also holding strong in the rankings. The piece notes that this list is based mainly on U.S. and global data, so the order may differ from what viewers in Japan see in their local Top 10 rows. A handy table breaks down each title with its release date, genre, and whether it’s a Netflix Original, making the article a useful “one-stop catalog” for deciding what to watch this week rather than a narrowly curated recommendation list.
