HP unveils “Experience AI,” a web platform that reshapes its site around each customer

HP has announced “HP Experience AI,” a new agentic AI platform that actually reshapes HP.com around what each visitor wants to do. Instead of typing model names into a search box and clicking through endless categories, customers can simply describe their goal in natural language, by text or voice.

If someone says, “I need a quiet laptop for working from home” or “Help me compare two study laptops for my kids,” the AI dynamically adjusts the web page layout. Product grids, comparison tables, and support content are rearranged on the fly to highlight the most relevant options, rather than forcing the user to hunt through a fixed menu structure.

For now, Experience AI is in beta with a limited group of U.S. customers, with HP planning a broader global rollout later this year. It’s one of the first large‑scale attempts to turn a major manufacturer’s website itself into an AI agent, not just bolt on a chatbot. If the experiment succeeds, it could push e‑commerce experiences—also in Japan—away from pure “spec search” toward more conversational, consultative shopping journeys.
