Voibe Work launches AI meeting notes that don’t require a bot in your call

Most AI note‑takers for Zoom, Teams and Meet still work the same way: you invite a “Notetaker” bot into the call, hope no one is confused by the extra participant, and let a cloud service record everything. A new product called Voibe Work is taking a different path. Officially launched at the end of September, it promises full AI meeting notes without putting a bot in the meeting at all.

Instead, Voibe Work runs on the user’s own machine and browser, capturing audio from whatever conferencing app you use — Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or others — then sending it for transcription, summarization and action‑item extraction. If you connect your calendar, the app can automatically detect when a meeting starts and begin recording on your side, so the participant list looks normal to everyone else.

The company argues this approach reduces friction and privacy concerns: there’s no mysterious third‑party account joining every call, and teams don’t have to remember to admit it from the waiting room. Beyond a high‑level summary, Voibe Work highlights speakers, pulls out follow‑up tasks and can push notes straight into tools like email or Slack. The initial release focuses on English‑language meetings, but the roadmap includes broader language support and deeper workflow integrations over time.
