Google’s Gemini turns into a hub that talks to your favorite apps for you

Google is quietly turning its Gemini assistant into more than just a chat window. In a recent update, the company announced an expanded wave of “Connected Apps” that lets Gemini plug directly into a growing list of third‑party services. On the productivity side, that includes tools like Airtable, Linear, monday.com, PandaDoc, Wispr AI and Zoho. For creative work, there are integrations with Adobe, Picsart, Squarespace and Webflow, while lifestyle apps such as apartments.com, Experian, Peloton and SeatGeek round out the mix.

Once you connect an account in Gemini’s settings, you can simply mention an app by name in a conversation — for example, “Create a new task in Linear for this bug” or “Draft a contract in PandaDoc using this info.” Behind the scenes, Gemini calls each provider’s APIs and carries out the action, so you don’t have to bounce between browser tabs or retype the same details.

Google already offered tight hooks between Gemini and its own services like Gmail and Drive, but the new integrations significantly widen its reach. The long‑term pitch is that you’ll be able to manage most of your work and personal tools from a single AI interface instead of dozens of separate apps. The rollout is starting in select regions and languages, with more partners and geographies promised over time, so users outside North America may still see a gradual launch schedule.
