Brain launches a shared ‘company memory’ to make every enterprise AI actually useful

US startup Brain has officially launched a cloud platform that aims to give every AI system inside a company access to the same, well‑governed “company memory.” The service connects to tools like document repositories, ticketing systems and chat platforms, then consolidates that information into a single knowledge layer that any approved AI assistant or agent can draw from.

Unlike a simple vector database, Brain emphasizes governance and security controls. Teams can define exactly which agents are allowed to see which slices of data, reducing the risk that a powerful but over‑privileged assistant will accidentally expose sensitive information. The idea is that sales bots, support copilots and HR assistants can all benefit from shared institutional knowledge without sharing everything with everyone.

Brain pitches its platform as a kind of “super app” for enterprise AI: instead of each new tool building its own siloed memory, they all plug into a common layer that stays accurate, auditable and access‑controlled.
