Perplexity’s Comet Now Talks to Notion, Linear, and GitHub—Turning Into a Developer Workflow Hub

Perplexity has quietly turned its developer assistant, Comet, into more of a workflow hub. In the September 19 update, Comet gained official connectors for Notion, Linear, and GitHub—three tools that sit at the heart of many software teams’ daily work. Notion is widely used for internal docs and specs, Linear for issue and project tracking, and GitHub for hosting and reviewing code.

With these connectors enabled, you can now ask Comet to “summarize this week’s bug‑fix tickets,” “turn the latest spec into action items,” or “review open pull requests and highlight risky changes,” and it will pull data directly from Linear, Notion, and GitHub in one place. The idea is that developers stay inside a single AI chat instead of manually hopping between multiple dashboards and tabs.

There is a significant caveat: Perplexity is limiting the new integrations to its Enterprise Pro and Max tiers at launch, so individual and small‑team users do not get access yet. The coverage notes that this could meaningfully improve project visibility and code review quality for larger teams, while also concentrating even more of a company’s operational knowledge inside one vendor’s ecosystem—something security and compliance teams will want to evaluate carefully.
