US startup Modern Life announced “Modern Life Workspace” on September 15, describing it as an AI operating system for financial protection professionals. The platform is aimed at life insurance agents, financial planners, and brokers who sell income protection and similar products, and brings their fragmented tools into a single, AI‑driven workspace.

Within Workspace, advisors can manage leads and clients, compare quotes across carriers, generate proposals, prefill applications, and track case status from one interface. An embedded large language model analyzes client profiles and existing coverage to draft recommended plan options and plain‑language explanations that advisors can edit and approve. The system also assists with compliance‑ready documentation and automates internal workflows and hand‑offs.

Modern Life positions Workspace as a way to shift time away from manual data entry and vendor hopping toward higher‑value client conversations.
