Talking to your timesheet: Swiftime brings conversational time tracking

They’re exposing an API that lets autonomous agents record their own activity, so, for example, a coding assistant could log how long it spent on a specific feature branch directly into billing or project‑management systems. That makes the product relevant not just for freelancers and consultants, but also for teams experimenting with mixed human‑and‑AI workflows.

Because conversational logs can include sensitive details about clients and projects, security and governance will be critical questions: where data is stored, how it’s encrypted, and who can access it. If Swiftime adds strong privacy controls plus localized interfaces and currency options, it could appeal to independent professionals and agencies well beyond its initial English‑speaking user base.
