Turn your Slack workspace into an automated AI cockpit with Aamu

A new Finnish startup is quietly trying to make Slack the single place where you orchestrate all your AI‑assisted work. Its product, Aamu, is a no‑code workflow automation layer that sits on top of Slack and lets you wire together AI models and SaaS tools directly from your chat channels. The service appeared on a popular “new products today” discovery site on September 7 as a fresh launch in the SaaS productivity category.

Instead of building complex scripts, users define simple recipes combining “triggers” (like a message command or reaction emoji) and “actions” (run an AI research agent, file a ticket, update a CRM, and so on). Once configured, team members can stay inside Slack: posting a keyword such as /research in a channel could automatically spin up an AI research task and return a summarized answer in a thread, without anyone touching a separate dashboard.

The initial release is English‑only and aimed at teams that already treat Slack as their primary work hub. For those organizations, Aamu offers a way to weave AI gradually into existing habits, rather than forcing users into yet another app or interface.
