Flowtica Verso Turns the Back of Your Phone into an AI Meeting Companion

At the IFA trade show in Berlin, productivity startup Flowtica unveiled Verso, a palm‑sized AI companion that magnetically snaps onto the back of MagSafe‑compatible smartphones. The device features an always‑on e‑paper display, turning the otherwise unused back of your phone into a dedicated surface for meeting notes, action items, and reminders.

Machined from a single block of aluminum‑magnesium alloy and weighing about 98 grams, Verso can sit on a desk stand or hang from a lanyard in addition to attaching directly to a phone. It records spoken conversations through a built‑in microphone, sends the audio to Flowtica’s cloud service, and then shows structured summaries and to‑do lists on its low‑power screen. The idea is to keep important follow‑ups literally in view, without forcing users to dig through yet another app.

Flowtica is positioning Verso for professionals who live in meetings—interviewers, consultants, salespeople, and team leads. By separating meeting intelligence from the distraction‑heavy smartphone display, the company hopes to create a calmer “second surface” where only the next steps are visible. Pricing and availability outside Europe have not yet been announced, but the concept is already drawing attention as a potential new category of meeting‑focused gadget.
