Zephyr’s The AI Platform goes GA: a desktop where human teams and AI agents work side‑by‑side

US startup Zephyr has moved its desktop app “The AI Platform” (TAP) from early access to general availability as of August 20. After five months of testing, the company is pitching TAP as a place where entire teams share channels with AI specialists instead of bouncing between isolated chatbot tabs.

The core idea is that every recurring workflow—sales outreach, content production, scheduling, basic ops—can be turned into a “mini‑app” that runs on top of large language models. Rather than asking staff to prompt raw models from scratch, TAP wraps them in small, task‑specific applications that non‑technical users can launch and tweak inside a team workspace.

Zephyr says its own sales, content, and scheduling operations already run as mini‑apps on TAP, using human teammates and AI agents in the same channels to get work shipped. For now, the product is available as a desktop app for Windows and macOS, targeting teams that want to experiment with multi‑agent workflows without building their own infrastructure.
