Berlin’s YGO Raises $8.9M to Turn Messy Hotel Data into AI‑Ready Content
Berlin‑based startup YGO has raised a $8.9 million Series A round to expand its “AI content infrastructure” for hotels and travel brands. The company’s SaaS platform ingests fragmented data—room descriptions, amenities, rates, reviews and more—and cleans, structures and transforms it into formats that generative AI agents can easily consume.
By plugging into YGO, hotels can automatically unify data scattered across booking engines, property‑management systems and marketing tools, then use it to power multilingual guest guides, chatbots and highly personalized trip recommendations. German tour operator Condor Holidays is already a flagship customer, and YGO says it has scaled to seven‑figure annual recurring revenue within roughly six months of commercial rollout.
With the new funding, the startup plans to hire more engineers and move beyond its initial European focus. As the travel sector rushes to deploy AI, YGO is betting that the real bottleneck is not the models themselves but the quality and structure of the underlying data—positioning its platform as critical “back‑office plumbing” for the next wave of AI‑driven travel services.
